At Artisan Roast, curiosity has always guided how we source, roast, and share coffee. Over time, that curiosity led to a simple question: what happens when we focus entirely on coffees that are truly scarce, distinctive, and difficult to come by? The answer is The Rare Club.


 

What is The Rare Club?

The Rare Club is a curated series of just six releases each year, created for those who enjoy exploring coffee at its most limited and expressive. Every release is a micro or nano lot, selected for its rarity, provenance, and exceptional cup quality. These coffees are roasted in small batches and shared in limited quantities, offering members access to coffees that are rarely available beyond a handful of roasters worldwide.


This is not about volume or routine. It is about discovery.

Since launching The Rare Club, we have already shared some truly exceptional coffees, each chosen for both quality and character:

 

  • Bonita Springs Wush Wush

    Natural process, Wush Wush, Panama

    A vibrant and expressive coffee, showcasing the elegance and complexity Panama has become known for, with the distinctive character of the Wush Wush variety.

  • Cup of Excellence #3, Don Cayito

    Honey process, Gesha, Costa Rica

    A beautifully refined Gesha, selected through the Cup of Excellence programme and celebrated for its clarity, balance, and depth.

  • Cup of Excellence #2, El Ocote

    Anaerobic Honey process, Gesha, Mexico

    A striking example of modern processing paired with exceptional variety, offering layered sweetness and structure.

 


Each release represents a moment in time, a specific place, and a particular approach to farming and processing.
